From the window, she saw lightening below. She closed her eyes and prayed. She felt a hand holding her arm tightly. She didn’t know him, who cares at the final moment – a brief time one feels free. The vibrations moved her, but she had her eyes closed. She had them closed when it happened.

He woke up to find he was in some hospital. He could not remember what led him there. His first reflex was to check if anything was missing from his body. He got up on his legs, moved his hands, all fine. While moving towards the door, he saw a strange face he didn’t recognize.

Shall
He had worked on the line for the whole day.
He went down on his knees, “I shall love you more than anyone!”
“Shall?”
For a moment he didn’t realize what went wrong. Then shocked on his stupidity, “Oh sorry, ‘will’ I meant. I will love you more than anyone, my dear!”
“I shall not.”
